Undaykawūx (Kisa), owner of Arctic Owl Designs. Undaykawūx was born and raised in Alaska and is Alaska Native Tlingit. She is the grand daughter of the Tribal Leader Rosa Miller, and of the Frog Like Creature House/Clan, of the Dog Salmon Crest under the Raven Moiety. The Aak’w Kwáan of Auk Bay Alaska.

She loves her culture, beading and the outdoors. Every piece of art she creates, is crafted to show culture, quality and history. Undaykawūx is known for her Limited Edition sets, “The Undaykawūx Collection”, which are only made once. She is also known for her creation and release of the “Antler Forget Me Not” beaded jewelry as seen on this site under “Arctic Fire” and “Arctic Ice Caribou”. She was raised herding and caring for Caribou/Reindeer and hand crafts each antler piece.

Undaykawūx creates masterpieces by taking the time to design and bead with high quality supplies. Each piece is crafted to capture and show the Alaska Native culture and style. She searches diligently for antique beads and stones to feature in her work. By doing so, many of her pieces will contain trade beads from the 1700’s and 1800’s, vintage delicate 15-22 sized beads and other exotic or rare items. She is also known for her pieces with Fish Scale beads, which are from the early 1700’s out of Venice Italy. Many sets will also display an Alaska theme for that final touch.
